Fund Manager Creston King comments:

How would you describe the Fund?

"Selected Daily Government Income Fund invests primarily in short-term U.S. Government agency securities that carry the highest credit quality rating, but yield more than Treasury securities of comparable maturities.

"The fund's strategy is to hold short term securities with varying maturity lengths. The technique used -- sometimes referred to as laddering -- allows the fund to manage risk and achieve competitive yields while providing investors with a high degree of stability and liquidity."

Why should investors choose a money market fund?

"The Fund generally offers higher yields than comparable bank savings accounts. It is well suited for investors seeking a safe haven for cash reserves they may need in an emergency or a temporary parking place for money awaiting long-term investment. The Fund is a particularly convenient place to hold money that you plan to invest gradually in stock or bond funds over time."

An investment in the Fund is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. Although the Fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in the Fund.
